Case Study: PepsiCo Ltd, Co Cork

The manufacturer of the famous drink have their labs in Ireland. They contacted PID explaining they needed to identify numerous samples from one source but each of them would undergo different tests, until recently done by hand writing standard labels. Obviously, this generated problems of legibility and durability and was no way to manage their laboratory labelling.

After some discussion, it quickly became apparent that Positive ID could solve the problem with a sequential numbering gun where the number printed on the label increases by one each time you pull the handle.

As a manufacturer with wide ranging experience in materials and adhesive application, Positive ID also supplied laboratory labels which were freezer safe, autoclave safe and could be eventually washed off so that sample containers could be re-used.
