Best before labels are a pre-requisite for food production where EC regulations require all consumable products to be given a best before date to protect consumers for bad food.

We can of course prepare your best before labels to any size but the most common labels are pre-printed onto CT4 (26x12mm) single line or CT7 (26x16mm) two line labels.

Two line labels can also incorporate other information such as price, batch number or production date. Examples might include dental sterilisation labels meeting requirements of the HTM01-05 (Health Technical Memorandum) for Dental Practice, coming into force in April 2011.
