Positive ID Labelling have been manufacturing Chemical Labels for over 20 years. We will manufacture your labels to order, quickly and at a competitive price with no fuss.
Material, design, adhesives and quantities will have an impact on the cost of your Chemical Labels. The price you will pay for your labels will depend on many options so we have to quote you based on your exact specification.
We can make labels in a vast range of sizes up to 330mm wide and 300mm+ long – size is a major factor in cost. The material you choose for your labels can impact price too, as can the adhesive. To affect the unit price of you Chemical Labels, ordering high volumes is the best way to reduce costs. We are dedicated to making Chemical Labels to the highest possible standards with quality materials. We have digital and flexographic label printing presses to make your labels in spot or full “CMYK” colour. We will advise you of the best printing method based on costing your job on volume and specification (that is why we cannot selldirectly through the website).
Chemical Labels can be printed on our Jetrion 4900 digital printing press. Using UV inkjet technology, there are no printing plates despite being a full colour press. Digital printing allows us to print your labels direct from the computer in much the same way as you can print on a desktop computer – without any delays. Our Jetrion 4900 digital press has a laser die cutting station and uses high power lasers to cut the label shape from our feed stock material. The benefit of this is no delays in tooling and we can cut labels to any shape. There is no restriction on label lengths or gaps as would be the case with rotary cutting equipment. Unlike flexo, digital also means no costs incurred if you want to change your label designs or shape between orders.
Flexographic printing is ideal for high volume label orders. It reduces unit prices and is a faster printing technology compared to digital. For simple artwork, we will probably recommend using our 6 colour, water based Rotopress. For complex full colour labels, we have a brand new Etirama 350 6 colour UV and water based ink press. The Etirama is a new addition, costing over £330,000 and capable of printing at over 100 metres per minute, reducing production time and cost.
