Positive ID Labels provides work experience to staff families and a limited number of local schools. Work experience forms an important part of student development and helps senior pupils get a grasp of what lies ahead in their working lives.
We have been happy to have several youths come through our doors and be exposed to a range of factory and office life. July saw the arrival of Sakshi Pushpinder from Landau Forte College in Derby. Sakshi focused on office work for us and did a range of duties from order inputting, reconciliation and credit control. Part of a modern business relies upon a digital presence. That includes writing blogs like these and other blogs focused on specific areas of the business. As such, Sakshi was tasked with writing an article comparing direct thermal and thermal transfer printing technologies.
