Label Gun Label Order for St Bernard’s Abbey

We always like to share an unusual story and this one is just heavenly! This one is about a label gun label order for St Bernard’s Abbey in Shepshed.

Brother Martin contact us in November to enquire about labelling the products in the St. Bernard’s Abbey gift shop. The gift shop is an important source of income for the monks and nun based at St. Bernard’s Abbey in Shepshed, Leicestershire.

Tricia, our dispatch manager, took the call and immediately hit it off with brother Martin. They discussed what the abbey needed and she got to work.

At Positive ID we are keen to give our staff training in all aspects of our work and most of the office staff can at least complete rudimentary artwork for our customers. Tricia designed a layout for the abbey label gun labels and sent it for approval straight away. Brother Martin approved the design quickly and the printing plate was processed the next day using our in-house plate making equipment.

A few days later, the label gun label order was ready and a Swing C8 label gun was packed along with the custom printed labels for dispatch. As it happened, Tricia called ahead to let Brother Martin know his order was ready. Thrilled with the speed of the order, Brother Martin was also a little concerned about using the labels gun so Tricia agreed to deliver the goods personally and show the staff at the gift shop how the label guns work.

Always happy to receive visitors, Brother Martin also asked if Tricia would like to bring her boys to have a look around the abbey to which she agreed.

It was a pleasure to show Brother Martin how to use his label gun with his bespoke label gun label order. It’s not every day you get to see the beauty and architecture of such a peaceful place like St. Bernard’s. Brother Martin and Sister Maria showed us around the gift shop and abbey. The chapel is beautiful and very calm. A beautiful place for reflection. It was a very interesting and different day, not something I would normally do but I am extremely grateful for hospitality.

To cap it off, Brother Martin and Sister Maria also sent a beautiful Christmas Card.
