For over 20 years, Positive ID Labelling have been manufacturing Bread Labels. PID is a family run business with dedicated, highly skilled staff able to make your labels to specification.
The cost of manufacturing Bread Labels varies considerably based on a number of factors that make up your specification. If you call us on 01332 864895 we can talk you through the options. It can be helpful to do this as it saves time for you too.
We can make labels in a vast range of sizes up to 330mm wide and 300mm+ long – size is a major factor in cost. We offer a range of materials design to deliver the best performance for the environment your labels will be subject to. Unit prices for you Bread Labels will fall with the volume fo labels you order. To get a quick idea of price, call us on 01332 864895 or fill in the form below.
Whether you need large or small volumes, we can make your Bread Labels to the highest standards at competitive prices. We have invested over £600,000 in the last two years in new printing equipment to deliver the best quality labels at low prices. Digital is ideal for shorter runs up to 20,000 labels in general (depending on size of course!). Longer runs are best done on traditional flexo presses to get a better unit price.
Bread Labels can be printed on our Jetrion 4900 digital printing press. Using UV inkjet technology, there are no printing plates despite being a full-colour press. Digital label printing means no delays in getting tooling such as printing plates or cutters. Savings in time and money are passed onto you as our customer. The digital press incorporates a laser die cutting station. This means we can cut any shaped or sized label without the delay or cost of flexible dies. Without the need for printing plates or rotary dies, lead time delays and tooling cost savings can be passed on to you. The digital process means changes can be made easily in the artwork on the computer and incorporated the next time we press the print button!
For high volume work, flexographic printing is the most cost-effective method, despite initial tooling costs. For simpler work, we would recommend using our Rotopress 6 colour water based printing press. We can make plates for this press in the house at very low cost. For full colour, photo quality finish, we have just invested over £330,000 in an MPS 350 8 colour UV capable press. Coming into operation in April 2018, the MPS allows us to perform a whole new range of production methods, hitherto unavailable to us.
