Whether you need large or small volumes, we can make your Blockout Labels to the highest standards at competitive prices. Our printing equipment includes the latest flexographic and digital presses – we have invested over £600,000 in new equipment in 2015-2017. Digital is ideal for shorter runs up to 20,000 labels in general (depending on the size of course!). Longer runs are best done on traditional flexo presses to get a better unit price.
We have some of the best digital equipment available in the UK at your disposal. Printing Blockout Labels on our Jetrion 4900 UV inkjet means full colour labels with no plate charges. Digital label printing means no delays in getting tooling such as printing plates or cutters. Savings in time and money are passed onto you as our customer. Our digital printing press includes a laser die cutting station – your labels will be cut out using high power lasers no on a rotary metal cutter. This means your labels are cut to shape with a laser, not a metal die on a cylinder. Changing label designs between print runs is easy so you can do special labels or change products with ease and without cost.
For high volume work, flexographic printing is the most cost-effective method, despite initial tooling costs. For simple artwork, we will probably recommend making your labels using our 8 colour, UV-Ink MPS printing press. For photo-like reproduction, our new MPS 350 is the press for the job, with 8 colour capability running at 100m+ per minute print speeds. The MPS is a new addition, costing over £330,000 and capable of printing at over 100 metres per minute, reducing production time and cost.
