For moderate volumes or budget-conscious buyers, Swing delivers reliable performance at competitive prices. They use the same label sizes, so you’re not locked into proprietary consumables.

1 Line Pricing Guns
One line labelling gun models print a single row of text – typically 6 to 10 characters. Perfect for simple price marking or basic date coding.

2 Line Pricing Guns
Two line labelling gun models are the workhorses of food retail and production. Print price on one line and date on another, or production date above and use-by below.
Understanding Pricing Gun Model Numbers
The naming system seems confusing at first, but it’s logical once explained:
- First number = characters in top row (always 10)
- Second number = characters in bottom row (6, 7, or 10)
- ‘A’ suffix = alphanumeric characters (letters as well as numbers)

3 Line Pricing Guns
Three line label gun models handle complex labelling – batch codes, production dates, and use-by dates all on one label. Only Open Data manufacture these to our required standard.
- Open Data T111 – Three rows of 10 characters each
- Open Data T117 – Two rows of 10, bottom row of 7 larger characters
These use CT10 labels (29mm x 28mm) and suit laboratories, dental practices, and food production requiring detailed traceability.
Date Labelling Guns
Need to mark best-before or use-by dates quickly? Date labelling guns feature character bands optimised for day-month-year formats rather than currency symbols.
The Swing S9, Swing S10, and Open Data S10 are purpose-built for date coding. Bakeries, butchers, and delis rely on these daily.
Alphanumeric Models
Standard equipment only prints numbers and currency symbols. Alphanumeric labelling guns add letters essential for batch codes, product codes, or location markers.
