Positive ID Labels can provide UKCE labels for the new UKCA Labelling laws coming into effect on January 1 2021.
The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new UK identifier used for goods being placed into Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most goods which previously required the “CE” marking. So in general, if you marked your goods with a CE mark, you will need to label them with new UKCA labels.
Goods placed in the Northern Ireland market must continue to use the CE Mark.
In the immediate future, there will be very little change from the technical requirements in place at the moment. As a result, most company’s using the CE Mark will only need to replace the CE Mark with a UKCA mark.
Goods exported to the EU market will still need to be compliant with EU regulations and be CE Marked.

Our UKCA labelling solutions are made using a silver blockout material with permanent adhesive. The adhesive takes a few minutes to fully cure and the bond becomes stronger with time. The silver blockout material renders any label markings below unreadable.
We make bespoke UKCA labels in any colour including metallic finishes so your UKCA labelling can be placed over your CE Label. These can be over varnished too if required.
