2 Line Pricing Guns explained
2 Line pricing guns print two rows of text with a number of characters in each row. The number of characters in each row varies with each model of pricing gun. We offer 2 line pricing guns that print 10 characters in the upper row and 6, 7 or 10 characters in the bottom row.
All of our 2 line pricing guns use so-called “CT7” 26mm x 16mm pricing gun labels. These can be pre-printed with desired text such as “Best Before and Batch or “Production Date and Use By Date”. The naming for the 2 line pricing guns is as follows:

Setting Up print on a 2 line pricing gun
Each row of text is set using a crown on the side of the print head. The crown is pulled out by the user and indicates the column of text being adjusted. Only one character is adjusted at a time. The crown can be moved to select a different character in the row and rotated again to select the correct character in that position. Once the coding has been set, the crown is re-seated and the pricing gun is ready to print.
Operating a 2 line pricing gun
The operation of the pricing guns could not be simpler. Squeezing the handle and lever together will in one action, roll the print head over the inking roller inside the pricing gun. The print head will then make an impression on the label and eject the label from the underside at the front of the pricing gun. This projecting label can now be ‘stroked’ onto the item being labelled.

Maintenance
Servicing of the 2 line pricing guns for a user is also very simple. The only 2 parts that a user will need to deal with are putting new rolls of labels into the price gun or replacing the ink roller. Replacing labels is intuitive and included in the instructions that come with the label gun. Ink roller replacement is a little more involved but again, the instructions are included with the pricing gun packaging.
