Positive ID Labels are proud to announce the acquisition of Limbus Labels Ltd based in Tiverton, Devon.
The acquisition includes the purchase of the company outright along with the customer database, MPS EB370 8 station flexographic printing press and all the associated tooling and equipment such as plate mounter, print cylinders and cutters.
Limbus Labels has a turnover of £400k built up by the owner and Director Hank Arnold over the past seven years. Hank will join Positive ID Labels as part of the deal and continue to look after his customer base. This will ensure the smoothest possible transition for the Limbus Labels customers.
The MPS EB370 printing press was one of the main benefits of the deal. Despite having some finance outstanding, the printing press is of such exceptional quality, it will allow Positive ID Labels to offer higher quality labels than before. This should enable current customers to enjoy the benefits of the printing technology whilst opening other markets to Positive ID Labels as a result of quality.
Limbus Labels £400k turnover should add to Positive ID’s £1.6m and along with other growth, take the company to well over £2m.
Commenting on the deal, John Mayers, Positive ID Labels Managing Director said:
This is a fantastic deal for both companies. The addition of Hank to our team is the cherry on the cake. He brings with him over 40 years of print experience and will bring the company’s print capabilities up into the premier league!.
We have been looking for a high-quality press for some time and the chance of buying the MPS EB370 along with the customer database was an opportunity not to be missed.
Also commenting on the deal, Danny Carr, Production Director said:
It came as no surprise that MPS transferred and installed the machine perfectly – just like the work that comes off their press! I am really grateful to MPS for the way they handled the transfer and installation which could not have gone better.
The MPS EB370 is fully installed and customers are already experiencing the benefits of this fantastic machine. Promotional video below:
