Positive ID Labels offers a range of affordable sandwich labelling solutions to suit different customer budgets. It also provides a full after care service, offering remote desktop support for any problems you might encounter. Positive ID Labels offers a hardware and software installation service for a small additional cost if required.

Coupled with the printing system, Positive ID Labelling are now offering free Nutridata Lite ingredient and nutrition data software to help users manage their labelling data. A major challenge to meeting Natasha’s Law and EUFIC regulations, Nutridata makes managing ingredient data a breeze. The software allows users to:

• create ingredients (or import them from the McCance & Widdowson dataset)
• build recipes from their ingredients
• build products from their recipes
• export data tables that provide data in full conformance with labelling law, for use with Label Direct software to print their labels
• export products sheets for their kitchen files

The Lite version is aimed at smaller food businesses and delivers ingredient lists with allergen highlighting in QUID order. The pro version also calculates nutrition data for the product, based on the legal 100g declaration and the per portion values. It also adds options for front of pack traffic light labelling.

We are proud to also offer our android tablet based printing system, LabelData, that works in conjunction with the Nutridata, Label Direct, TSC printer ecosystem.

LabelData lets end users drive their system with an android tablet. To set it up, we need to:

• Prepare data using Nutridata
• Connect Nutridata output to Label Direct and design your label layout
• Print all the labels to file
• Upload your Nutridata data and the output file to the LabelData website
• Connect the printer to the same network as the android tablet
• Print your labels – wirelessly

The tablet interface is intuitive and takes moments to learn, cutting staf training time and ensuring only the correct data is printed on the correct labels. The system removes any possibility of accidental editing, whilst ensuring use by or productions dates or site location declarations are maintained.
