A major factor in pricing is the size of the labels you order and the quantity you need. We can make labels on our digital press to pretty much any size you need. We can print your labels on a range of materials and can advise you on what materials to used based on your needs. To reduce the unit price of your Essence Labels, ordering high volumes is the best way to reduce costs.
Whether you need large or small volumes, we can make your Essence Labels to the highest standards at the most competitive prices. We have invested over £600,000 in the last two years in new printing equipment to deliver the best quality labels at low prices. Shorter runs lend themselves to digital printing but longer runs (over 20,000 labels for example) are cheaper when made flexographically.
Essence Labels can be printed on our Jetrion 4900 digital printing press. Using UV inkjet technology, there are no printing plates despite being a full-colour press. If we make labels using our digital press, the costs and time associated with flexographic printing – printing plates and cutters – are avoided and the savings passed to you.
Our digital label printer includes a cutting edge (pardon the pun!) laser die cutting station. As a result of having no tooling requirements, there are no lead times which would be the case with flexographic printing. Changing label designs between print runs is easy so you can do special labels or change products with ease and without cost.
Flexographic printing is ideal for high volume label orders. It reduces unit prices and is a faster printing technology compared to digital. Our 6 colour Rotopress is suitable for a wide range of water-based ink work where the artwork is simpler in its nature. For full colour, photo quality finish, we have just invested over £330,000 in an MPS 350 8 colour UV capable press. We can complete metallic foiling and a number of other specialised finishes with this press.
